The cost of the program is AU $1,995 per unit. The entire course consists of four units, totalling AU $7,980. Fees can be initially paid via an enrolment fee of AU $795, with the balance either due upon completion or distributed evenly throughout the duration of the program to accommodate your financial needs.
The fee for Recognition of Prior Learning is AU $3,500. This option is available to applicants who can demonstrate relevant educational achievements, professional experience, and/or industry qualifications that align with the program's requirements.
Dr Gav Schneider is the Group CEO of Risk 2 Solution and is an acknowledged subject matter expert on human centric and integrated risk management. He has a broad background in business, leadership, safety and security, emergency management and incident response, with extensive senior level management and leadership experience. Dr Gav is the creator of the highly acclaimed Presilience approach.
He has led numerous, high-level consulting and advisory projects and has two decades of Senior Leadership, Operational Specialised Risk Management, Cultural Change, Security and Safety experience in over 16 countries. Dr Gav is a fellow of ARPI, ISRM, GIA as well as a RSecP and CPP. He is considered Australia’s leader in the field of Psychology of Risk.
Paul has over 25 years of operational and management consulting experience in the public and private sectors, during which time he has worked with and provided management advisory, research/analysis and capacity development services to a wide range of industry groups throughout Australia and internationally – encompassing major government, infrastructure, transport, and oil & gas projects.
Holding accreditations as a Fellow of the Australian Risk Policy Institute (FARPI), Fellow of the Institute of Strategic Risk Management (FISRM), Member of the Australian Tactical Medical Association (MATMA), Chartered Generalist OHS Professional (ChOHSP), Certified Master Anti-Terrorism Specialist (CMAS) and Registered Presilience Practitioner (RPP), his specific areas of expertise relate to public safety and security risk management and capacity development on a personal, organisational, and societal level.
Adopting an evidence based behavioural science approach, Paul actively integrates the principles of organisational psychology and risk management to facilitate sustainable cultural change and capacity development that is supported by, and actively aligned with, wider management and operational frameworks – thereby facilitating health & safety and security risk management as being truly “business as usual”.
Combining practical experience with theoretical knowledge, Paul maintains an active relationship with academic and research institutions.

This qualification reflects the role of individuals who undertake specialist resilience and risk management roles, both internally and externally to an organisation. These roles include cross-industry tasks and responsibilities relating to corporate governance and risk management, business continuity, crisis management, leadership, innovation, and high reliability teams.
Individuals in these roles have autonomy in performing tasks, apply solutions to a range of often complex and ambiguous problems, and research, analyse and evaluate information from a variety of sources. They apply their initiative to plan and respond, to lead teams, to manage change, to coordinate and evaluate courses, to challenge and facilitate risk-based conversations, and to establish and maintain high reliability teams.
In addition, this program is intended to provide participants with the following skills, doing so at a level of depth and conceptual integration that existing courses do not presently achieve:
Ability to identify and manage crisis and disruption events
Ability to proactively identify, explore and realise potential opportunities
An in-depth understanding of the psychological aspects and issues involved in the management of potential risk exposures
Ability to establish high-performance, high-reliability and organisational resilience
Understanding of the psychological issues pertaining to effective decision making, as well as the ability to better manage the same
Ability to review and maintain high-performance, high-reliability and organisational resilience
Ability to understand and apply effective leadership and influencing skills
Enhanced risk-based decision-making skills

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) can provide you with nationally recognised qualifications by converting your existing skills, knowledge and experience, gained through prior work or study, into formal competencies. You will be asked to provide evidence to support your application and the Institute of Presilience® team will assist you through the RPL assessment process.
